Candle experiment
On Tuesday we did a candle experiment. First we observed the candle and wrote down what we could see and what changed over time. Then we had a question that was, would the amount of oxygen that the flame got affect the amount of time the candle burned? My hypothisis was that the candle with the least amount of oxygen would go out the quickest. For our experiment we got three glasses and put them over the flame so that no oxegen could get in. My hypothisis was proved right in the fact that the candle under the smallest glass therefore the least amount of oxygen burnt for the least amount of time and the candle under the biggest glass burned the longest. It was a fun experiment and I learned a lot from it.
