Bridge project experiment
In the last two weeks Callan and I have been working on the second half of our project which was the experiment data analysis and the conclusion. We built the bridge out of popsicle sticks and glued them together with hot glue. To put weight on the bridge we used books and weights to put on top of the bridges. One problem we ran into was since our bridges were quite small balancing everything on top of the bridges. Our hypothesis was proved wrong in that the beam bridge and the deck truss bridge both could hold 4 kgs and that surprisingly the warren truss bridge could only hold 3 kgs. But we did find that the warren truss bridge was the hardest to balance things on which could have affected how much weight it could hold. In the end our experiment went quite well and we learnt a lot.
